Model
CRH
The Model CRH Single-Station Crankshaft Balancer is a completely stand-alone
production machine, combining unbalance measurement and correction in the same
part fixture.
Features:
Spindle drive unbalance measurement via crankpin,
post or flange.
3-axis
counterweight drilling to any crankshaft position.
Servo-controlled
measurement spin and drill correction.
Self-contained
hydraulic unit mounted on machine.
High-speed
rigid drilling via ballscrew driven way-unit and heavy duty spindle
supporting any type of coolant-fed tooling.
Machine-mounted
control panel and
sub-systems.
CBI-2000
controlled servos and measurement/correction process.
Loadable
by hand, manual hoist or a variety of overhead gantries.
Compatible
with above-floor or in-floor chip drags or trenches.
Exceptional
front and side access.
Optional
machine-mounted high-pressure coolant system.
Cabinet-style
guarding achieves mist containment and noise levels below all current automotive
specifications. Its enclosed design allows quick installation and setup with
virtually no field debug. Production rates are typically up to 35 parts/hour,
and can be higher. It can accommodate a wide range of crankshaft size and weights,
from small automotive engines up to large stationery power and medium-heavy
marine applications, in 3 machine sizes.
This machine forms the basis for a modular
Model CRH Multi-Station Balancer.
