Model EAB
The Model EAB Engine Assembly Balancer
is a single-station machine designed to measure and correct harmonic engine unbalance.

Features:
Electric motor drive of engine at low speed   (300 to 1000 RPM) to obtain first harmonic   unbalance measurements in 2 planes.
Rapid unbalance determination allows dry   engine (no oil) in some applications.
Servo motor drive from either end of engine.
A variety of unbalance correction systems   available, including:
 - Automatic drilling into pully, damper or   flywheel
 - Automatic welding of precut weights onto   flexplate
 - Automatic strip feed, cutoff and welding of   variable length weights
 - Installation of pins or driveweights into   designated locations
 - Air or hydraulic press for hole punch into   flexplate
CBI-2000 controlled servos and   measurement/correction process.
The above model shows a short block (no cylinder heads) balancer with automatic correction systems at both ends of the engine, and a side load shuttle transfer system.
Including the model show, several configurations are available. Most are fully automatic load and unload.
