The Model PRT Propshaft
Balancer is a single station semi-
automatic horizontal machine
designed to measure and correct
unbalance in automotive and
light truck propshaft/driveshaft
assemblies.

Features:
• Dynamic 2, 3 or 4 plane balancing.
• Supports a wide range of part sizes and weights.
• Part rotation speeds up to 6000 RPM.
• Two-speed balancing for obtaining a high speed
  audit measurement.
• Available unbalance correction systems include:
 - Automatic strip feed cutoff and welding of variable
  length weights.
 - Semi-automatic welding of fixed weights (automatic
  index, manual welding).
• Dual servo motors control part rotation for greater
  stability at higher RPM speeds.
• CBI-2000 controlled servos and   measurement/correction process.
• Standard pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
• Interlocked protective guarding on both the workpiece
  and the machine for operator safety.
• Optional Part Marking available.

Model PRT propshaft balancers can accurately balance single-piece or split length driveshafts in up to three measurement planes. Its flexible design allows these machines to support a broad range of shaft types, lengths and weights on one platform. These machines are manually loaded due to the size and weight of the workpiece.
